Edith Cavell (1865-1915) was a British nurse, working in German-occupied Belgium during the First World War. She helped hundreds of British, French and Belgian soldiers escape the Germans and was arrested, tried and executed in 1915.

Nun and missionary Mother Teresa known in the Catholic church as Saint Teresa of Calcutta, devoted her life to caring for the sick and poor. She died in September 1997.

Joan of Arc, born around 1412 was from northeastern France. She believed that God had chosen her to lead France to victory in its long-running war with England. With no military training, Joan lead the French army to the besieged city of Orléans, where it achieved a momentous victory over the English and the Burgundians. Joan was captured by Anglo-Burgundian forces, tried for witchcraft and heresy and burned at the stake in 1431, at the age of 19.

JFlorence Nightingale was born in Florence, Italy, on May 12, 1820 Part of a wealthy family, Nightingale defied the expectations of the time and pursued what she saw as her God-given calling of nursing. A revered hero of her time, she died on August 13, 1910, in London.

The Pratt Memorial School Guide Group proudly consists of 58 Guides and Recruits, along with 43 enthusiastic Bulbuls. Together, they form a vibrant unit committed to learning, growing, and serving with dedication.
Through various activities held throughout the year, members are encouraged to develop holistically. These engagements nurture essential life skills such as leadership, teamwork, discipline, and responsibility, empowering them to become confident and service-minded individuals.
Pratt Memorial School proudly hosts 14 dynamic clubs that enrich the student experience beyond academics. Held every Friday, these clubs provide opportunities for students to explore their passions, develop leadership skills, and engage in meaningful teamwork.
